Wedding reception, meeting or workshop
The Botanical Garden now offers a reception service. Arrangements for a reception, a business or committee meeting or a professional training activity shall be discussed prior to activity with our coordinator, Christian Landry. We have a menu already set up for such activities and we are ready to meet the specific needs of your group. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased on site under the authority of permit issued and inherent responsibilities. A minimum fee of $100, according to the type of reception and needs incurred, will be added to the current fee for the guests wishing to access the Garden.
The Botanical Garden offers a unique decor for an outdoor photo session throughout our different gardens.
The fees for the photo sessions are the same as the regular admission fees for the Botanical Garden. However, please note that our group rate is valid in most cases, is at $10.00 per person for groups that are 10 persons or more.
These fees are also valid for other types of photo sessions, for example : graduation, anniversary, family picture, etc.
It is possible to have a wedding ceremony inside the Botanical Garden. However, the ceremony usually takes place under the gazebo in the Flowery Brook garden, which is especially set up for the event. If another location is selected, an agreement has to be discussed regarding the possibilities for the event.
The flat rate for the wedding ceremony is fixed at $150.00 non refundable, plus $10.00 per person who attends the ceremony. This amount must be paid in full when the reservation is booked. The fees include the following services:
- Access to the site for all the guests
- Assistance and support before and during the ceremony
- Furniture (chairs, benches, tables)
- Audio system and microphone
- Standard decoration for the gazebo (more specific decorations would have to be provided in time for installement)
- Photo session
The Botanical Garden does not offer wedding receptions. However, an agreement can be made so that small reception after the ceremony could be possible. In that case, you are responsible for the setting (ex: renting a tent), catering services and any other services (ex: decor, gifts for the guests, etc.). Alcoholic beverages must be purchased directly from the Botanical Garden in order to respect our permit. A $100.00 minimum fee, assess by the type of reception and the services encountered, will be added to the ceremony rate.
Regarding the photo session, it is important to inform us of the date, time and amount of people that will participate in the session. In case of cancellation, we ask you to call us as soon as possible. The admission fees must be paid prior to the photo session.
Regarding the ceremony, and also the reception, the flat rate of $150.00 non refundable is required when the reservation is booked. The reservation must be made at lease two weeks prior the event and must be discussed with our coordinator, Lynne Thériault. Admission fees must be paid the day of the event.
